New Mexico Jazz Workshop returns to MADRID! On SEPTEMBER 15th, come to the historic town of Madrid for an afternoon of BLUES with an all-star cast of many of Northern New Mexico's finest blues musicians!

About Billy Cobham: Legendary jazz/fusion drummer, Billy Cobham celebrates the 40th anniversary of his groundbreaking album, Spectrum. Ever since his breakthrough in the early 1970s-as a founding member of the Mahavishnu Orchestra, and as a drummer/leader whose recordings (such as Spectrum) and powerful, complex style of play exerted a strong influence on the course of jazz and jazz-fusion-Billy Cobham has remained a tireless musical explorer. He will be joined by Dean Brown (guitar), Gary Husband (piano) and Ric Fierabracci (bass).
